1. Woody Allen


He was born on 1st December 1935 with a career spanning over six decades as a Director, Writer and Actor.

In the 1950s, he began his career as a comedy writer and by early 1960’s he began performing monologues rather than the traditional jokes and bits.

Woody Allen has had a rather turbulent personal life, with two divorces and a few relationships. Currently he is married to Soon-Yi Previn. 

Allen has received many honors throughout his career. He was ranked 4th out of a 100 people list of the Greatest Comedians by Comedy Central. Apart from this, he has also won four Academy Awards – three for Best Original Screenplay and one for Best Director. He has also garnered nine British Academy Film Awards.

2. Britney Spears


Born on 2nd December 1981, Britney Spears is an American Songwriter, Dancer and Actress.

Her first two albums, released in 1999 and 2000 were global successes and they made her the best selling teenage artists of all time.

Rob Sheffield of The Rolling Stone defined Britney’s singing style by saying- , “Britney Spears carries on the Classic archetype of the rock and roll teen queen”.

5 of Spears’s singles have reached number 1 in the United States. Her other two singles have topped Australian and Canadian charts.

Britney Spears has been involved in philanthropic activities. She’s been working for child welfare since 2001. Britney is also an ardent supporter of LGBTQ rights.

Born on 4th December 1969, Jay-Z’s real name is Shawn Corey Carter. Born and raised in New York City, he began his musical career in the mid 90s. His most recent album is a collaborative effort titled- Everything is Love with his wife Beyonce in 2018. 

Jay-z is the owner of 40/40 Club Sports Bar and the co-creator of Rocawear clothing line. He has also acted as a president of Def Jam recordings. He is the founder of ROC Nation Entertainment Company and is also credited with creating its spinoff, ROC Nation Sports.

Jay-z has an individual net worth of 900 million making him the richest Hip Hop artist in the world.

Jay-Z is also one of the world’s best selling music artists. He has received 21 Grammy Awards. He also holds the record for the most number one albums by a solo artist on the Billboard 200. In 2017, he became the first rapper to be honored at the songwriters Hall Of Fame in 2017

4. Paula Patton 

Paula Maxine Patton is an American actress born on 5th December 1975 in Los Angeles.

She started college in University of California Berkeley and then transferred to University of Southern California Film School after her first year.

Her big break came in 2006 when she landed the pivotal female lead role in the science fiction thriller Déjà Vu opposite Denzel Washington. She has also starred in movies like Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

She has won a Boston Society of Film Critics Award and a Critics Choice Movie Award both for the movie Precious.

5. Nicki Minaj 

Onika Tanya Maraj, professionally known as Nicki Minaj was born on December 8 ,1982 in Trinidad and Tobago and raised in Queens, she is an American rapper, songwriter, actress and model.

She released her first Studio album Pink Friday in 2010 which peaked at number 1 on the US Billboard 200.

Her rapping style has a unique flow, use of accents, metaphors, punch lines and word play. Her music has an influence of Electronic music genres especially Electropop. She is well known for the use of extravagant costumes and wigs in her Music Videos.

Nicki Minaj has the most Billboard hot hundred entries among women of all genres in the chart history. She has also been called one of the most influential female rap artists of all time.

Her album, ‘Fearless’ released in 2009, earned 4 Grammys and also led Taylor Swift to become the youngest Album of The Year winner.

Her song Look What You Made Me Do from her 6th album Reputation topped the charts in Australia Iceland, the UK and the US its music video exceeded 43.2 million views just on its first day on YouTube. With her personal life being the subject of constant media attention, the New York Times asserted that

“her dating history has begin to stir what feels like the beginning of a backlash” and also questioned whether Taylor Swift was in the midst of “a quarter life crisis”

Apart from all this, she has also been working for child welfare with UNICEF and Feeding America. Swift regularly donates to hospitals and to organizations dedicated to the same. She is also an ardent supporter of women’s rights. Hill is known for his comedy roles in films like Accepted (2006), Grandma’s Boy (2006) etc.

Jonah contributed as a screenwriter to the stories of 21 Jump Street Sausage Party (2012), Why Him (2016) and many other movies. For his role in the movie, The Wolf of the Wall Street (2013) he received Academy Award nominations for best supporting actor.

9. Samuel L Jackson

Samuel Leroy Jackson born December 21 1948 is an American actor and film producer. He achieved prominent and critical acclaim in the early 1990’s with films such as Goodfellas, Jungle Fever (1991) and Patriot Games (1992).

He began starring in The Marvel cinematic Universe as Nick Fury from the movie Iron Man (2008) to the release of Avengers: Infinity War (2018).

As well as the TV show Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is graced by his acting.

Apart from acting, he has also provided his voice to several animated films like The Incredibles (2004) and The Incredibles 2 (2018)

He involves himself in the Civil Rights Movement and after the 1968 assassination of Martin Luther King Jr, he attends his funeral in Atlanta as one of the ushers and then he flews to Memphis to join an equal rights protest march.

Born on December 24 1974, he is an American radio personality, television host and producer. Best known for hosting American Idol, Ryan Seacrest was also the executive producer of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. He has been co-hosting Live with Kelly and Ryan on a permanent basis since May 2017. He received Emmy award nominations for American Idol from 2004 to 2013 and again in 2016 he won an Emmy for producing Jamie Oliver’s food Revolution in 2010.

His nonprofit organization, Ryan Seacrest Foundation was launched in 2010. The foundation has nine centers all around America and in 2012 he name Selena Gomez as the Ambassador to the foundation.

Denzel Hayes Washington has received much critical acclaim for his work since the eighties including his portrayal of real life figures such as South African anti-apartheid activist Steve Biko in Cry Freedom (1987).

He is the recipient of three Golden Globes awards, a Tony award. He has also won two Academy Awards-one for Best Supporting Actor for the historical war drama film Glory (1989) and Best Actor for his role as a corrupt cop in the crime thriller Training Day (2001).

Currently, she portrays Ruth Wild in the comedy series Glow (2017-present) for which she received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series on Musical Comedy. She also received The Screen Actors Guild Award for outstanding performance by Female Actor in a Comedy Series.
