Horror movies are a part of Bollywood which drives audiences to a tale where they enjoy and feel the extreme. However, there are many horror movies too which have failed to terrify their audience.
1 PHOONK 2
The first part of PHOONK was relatively successful. But the second part of the movie directed by Ram Gopal Verma remained unsuccessful as it failed to scare its audience, though it was full of talented actors.
It is basically about a doll that was found near the haunted house. And the kids of that family bought that into their house. That is how unusual things started to happen. It ended up with the simple and common storyline that they returned to their home ending up all the ghost powers.
2 1920: LONDON. Fear strikes again
The first part of 1920 was a blockbuster movie. The second part was watchable. But the third part, 1920 LONDON had very poor rating; 1.5/5 stars. It had the very poor storyline and direction. Actor Sharman Joshi was driving the movie. According to the critics and audiences, there was nothing innovation found and not that scary also.
It is a 2010 movie directed by Rajeev Virani. Bobby Deol and Mugdha Godse played the lead roles. This movie got mixed reviews from the critics and was expecting the blockbuster. But unfortunately, it was not so.
Bobby was simple and natural. But Mugdha proved her excellence in this movie. It was rated 2/5 stars.
This movie got mixed reviews from the critics and was expecting the blockbuster. But unfortunately, it was not so. This 2015 movie had the highest opening among four major movies released in its weekend. ALONE directed by Bhushan Patel, lead by Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover.
This was basically about the twin sisters who promised to live together. Unfortunately one died. Dead sister became the witch and was taking revenge for the alive sister. Bipasha did a starring job. Still, it could not crack the box office.
5 HUM KAUN HAI?
This movie was directed by Ravi Shankar Sharma and remake of a Hollywood movie THE OTHERS. It had all the legendary actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia and Dharmendra as lead roles.
It had bad reviews and was not at all up to the mark. As it had all unusual twists and turns which was very unnatural. It could not answer the audiences about the cause and blur in presenting the ideas as well.
